Voices

Four voices occupy the same space without sharing a language. Each speaks with total precision, and each is, to the others, a wall of noise. You will hear them attempt contact anyway: probing, responding, misreading, persisting. The tension is not hostility. It is the specific loneliness of a signal that cannot confirm whether it has been received.

What holds them together is stranger than a common tongue. Each encodes the world according to a private logic, and each logic is, in its own way, a theory of what meaning is. Mirrors. Layers. Binary reduction. Coordinates. They are not saying the same thing. But they are asking the same question.

Watch for the moments when one voice pauses, as if something in the noise almost resolved into sense. You will not know if it did. Neither will they.
